MARIN MUSIC LESSONS POLICIES

Lesson Commitment 

  • Marin Music Lessons are a month to month commitment. Our fixed monthly rate is based on the full year, 48 lessons. You will receive an extra lesson for any months that have 5 weeks in them. This will accommodate for the holidays that we are closed.
  • If you cancel after you are billed for the month, you can finish out your lessons for that month. You will not be refunded for remaining lessons.

On-Time Policy

  • If your teacher is late, you will still receive your full lesson time.
  • If a student is late, the lesson will still end at scheduled time.

Make Up Lesson Policy

  • Marin Music Lessons do not offer refunds for missed lessons.
  • Makeup lessons are available upon at least 24 hour notice.
  • If student is sick, you can request a makeup lesson as long as you give at least 24 hours notice, otherwise we can offer a virtual lesson. 
  • If you choose to forgo the makeup lesson time offered or virtual lesson, you will not be refunded for the missed lesson.
  • If your teacher is out of town, you will be offered a makeup lesson or a substitute teacher.

Our aim is to create consistency for our students’ and teachers’ schedules. We understand that life happens and things come up so we will do our best to accommodate. 

Holiday Schedule

Below are the holidays that Marin Music Lessons observe. Our monthly rate accommodates for these holidays. There will be no lessons on these holidays.

  • Spring Break (April 13-19, 2025)
  • Thanksgiving (November 23-29, 2025)
  • Winter Break (December 21- January 3, 2026)

If your lesson falls on a different holiday (Ex. 4th of July), you can request a makeup lesson.
